2 week update - new to me C7
OK so after just over 2 weeks of C7 ownership I have a few thoughts:
I wish my budget was bigger for a 3LT. I miss the Premium trim level of the Caddy. I like the cabin area of the F Type much more, but not being able to fit 2 golf bags in the back turned out to be the deal breaker. (and I plan on keeping this a while. I don't know how comfortable I would have been with British engineering at 90k miles) The sound is amazing. I can't even imagine how nice this would sound with a Borla exhaust. Wheels with the proper backspacing are definitely on the shopping list. It came with 2 tops, but both are glass. It will be better in a month, but it gets hot inside. I thought about one of those suction cup covers, but the Florida sun will just roach it out. I can see a little lineage from my 63, which is cool. Can't wait to get a track day at Sebring. |

Is it lowered on the stock bolts? If not that’s a free mod that makes it look much better. Z06 grille changes the front end look tremendously.

Not sure how it is sitting, but I cannot go lower until I get the wheels within the fenders. I have a Z06 grill and Z06 style wheels that stick out a couple inches. Not interested in wide body fenders. Easier to put wheels that fit properly.

That's a thing. I went from a Caddy to the Z06. Can tell you it was way more better after adding the stick-on leather arm rest, foam partition, and Koni shocks. For less than the cost of one custom wheel you too can have a comfortable car

I think what I miss most right way are the ventilated seats and probably memory seats with easy exit. Once my wife or daughter sit in the car it takes me 3 days to get the seat back to how I like it, and I can see that I am going to beat the shit out of the seat bolster by getting in and out. Short fat guy here.

Wouldn't mind new seats if it meant an extra inch of leg room but I'd have to try them out prior to purchase and that's not likely. Bolster on my 2003 is in good shape unlike a lot of seats I've seen. Maybe because I don't use the seat for assistance? Pushing off on the body panel where the door latches works well for me.
