I got the Fluke thermometer and the dial caliper last week, and only had a chance to open them up today. They are top-notch indeed. I am still searching for the manual on-line for the specific Fluke 52 manual for the one Wathen1955 sent me. It has two J/K inputs and a Record/View function that apparently were not common on the old series 1 Fluke 52's. I'm just curious how that actually works and how many measurements it can hold in what is likely to be a rather small memory. I'm guessing it is at least 25 years old. Is in perfect shape though, and SIX thermocouple probes (well, three and two extensions and a connector of some sort.)! I almost feel bad for getting such a great deal on these two items. Almost.

Edit: Looks like the Record function just does a min/max, which is cool enough.

It's not a priority at all, but if you can that would be nice. I've done some hunting and found everything but that model. It seems they don't make much of a distinction between the 52's with single probes, dual probes, or the record/view function which appears to be just a min/max function.

Actually, only look for it if you absolutely are bored shitless. Otherwise I'm good.
