Camera Bag Opinion
Okay - I've got a very nice Dakine backpack style bag which works great, but it's not overly easy when it comes to accessibility and it's a lot to carry for shooting houses, heading downtown at night, etc.
so I bought this Dakine messenger bag. Planning on getting an insert, and can't decide which will work best. http://www.amazon.com/Express-Insert-Dslr-Camera-Exp/dp/B008UV8R4W/ref=pd_sbs_p_4 http://www.amazon.com/DSLR-Camera-Insert-Make-Your/dp/B0047P0QLC/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=SJAWTZTAHYPI&coliid=I186JHJ87ZGO7W The first is a bit too wide, so I'm leaning more towards the yellow one, but does anyone have much experience with inserts? Opinions? My bag is about 12" high, 13" long, 4-4.5" wide. |

I use an old Lowepro from the film days. It has the velcro compartments like the inserts pictured. But, no experience with a separate bag and insert.
What all do you want to keep in it ? O/T: The latest thing I've been looking into is a 'sling strap'. I have an old Optech around the neck style. |

I would like to keep the camera w/lens, room for one extra lens, external flash, and any other accessories I need for the day.
This is the style I use now - which is AWESOME for traveling, hiking, etc. http://www.amazon.com/Dakine-8150802-DAKINE-Mission-Timber/dp/B005DBX18O/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1368237155&sr=8-4&keywords=dakine+photo+backpack |

I like the BBP. It has the mini pockets on the attached cover. I keep some cleaning supplies in that area.

I use a backpack type and it has pockets and pouches everywhere.
I don't know anything about inserts though. |

I have a Temba bag. When I'm going out I tend to bring EVERYTHING.

Finally got some (cell phone) pics of the new bag.....
So far it's been great! Easy to access camera and lenses quickly. |
