No, that was my guess. I did eat paste as a child, played with mercury and was stomped by a horse.

Interesting...just asked GWiz to solve it, and also came up with 1. However, she also said she was taught that multiplication and division were interchangeable, thus supporting the L to R method.

(6/2)x3 = 9

these are not the same.

and if you confuse matters

6/2x3, you will be lost.
