The REVS Institute
In Naples Florida. Anyone else ever been there? It is a museum/conservatory which houses the collected acquisitions of the Collier family of Naples fame, and Briggs Cunningham's personal collection; plus I assume some others acquired who knows where. Both the facility, and the contents are Louvre quality!
Sorry, no photos (they are allowed sans flash but I did not think to bring a camera) as this was an unexpected opportunity while visiting family this weekend. If you are within 100 miles of this, get some tickets and GO. |

My wife and I went there back in '92, but I could have sworn it was called something else. I remember seeing the corvette grand sport, but not much else. We've looked for it several years later but couldn't find it. We tried searching under "museums", but no luck that way. Gave up looking finally. Now I know where to look! Thanks for the info

The Grand Sport shares a room with an all alloy 377 with monster Webers on it, a MkI GT40 and a MkII with "Gurney bump", and a Scarab. That's pretty serious firepower in just that room.
