I'm thinking about adding a supercharger to my 2003 50th anniversary Chevy. Any suggestions on a brand? Is this something you can do yourself (short of the computer tuning after it's installed)? Seams pretty straight forward. I'm relatively mechanically inclined. Any shop suggestions in the dc metro area?

As far as a shop goes, give Fran at Raceproven in Deleware a call. They're the best around. All they work on is LS equipped vehicles. Nobody knows the LS better.
It's a lot more involved than you might think. You have to drop the rack and pinion to pin the crank, and that is not an easy job. Then there is the issue of addingthe boost-a-pump to the fuel system. Neil at Chesapeak Custom has done a couple for guys on here. Great work, and nobody does details better. You'll have to have it tuned after that though. |
