Is it possible to use the factory wires from the head unit to the speaker locations in the doors and rear if I replace the factory Bose stuff? Or is it necessary to run new speaker wires for all of it?
Looking at an inexpensive head unit and decent speakers for the doors and rear. Don't want high end stuff, used that in my truck. The current stock unit is now turning off and on by its self. |

Yes, you can use the factory wiring. You'll need to get a connectro that wires to the new head unit to connect to the factroy harness. As for the speakers, i believe they just plug right onto the factroy wire. But not positive on that part.

That would be good if the speakers hook up. Will look for the adapter to the factory harness. Used the same type of thing on my truck, no wire cutting.
