WTB: HEI Connectors
Hi guys,
Putting an HEI dizzy in my car, and would like to know if anyone has pigtails of the connectors that plug into the coil cap? The BAT and TACH drive connections are in there. Does anyone have a spare or one in good shape laying around I could get from them? Please let me know! Paul |

Don Martin, Eagle Wire Products I got new leads from Don a few years back for my HEI conversion. As far as I know he is still in business. |

Paul, I feel for you, I had to do the junkyard crawl to get mine. I have since seen them hanging on a pegboard in a parts supplier's inventory. It was a months ago and I don't recall which one, but there is hope. Do an online search, or make a few local calls to find what may be available. BTW...if the wire with the spade is still on your wire, don't cut it. When you get the pigtail, use a small flat blade screwdriver and lift the brass tab that holds it on the plastic connector and it will pull off. You need to look down inside the space between the wire and connector to reach the tab. Simply push the new plastic piece onto your wire spade in reverse of removing it from the pigtail wire. This will avoid the splice and how I tackled my replacement and it now looks original. |
