2012 LS3 Power Issue
I have been a Vette owner for years now, 2 C4's, a C5, and now my C6 which I have had for just over a year which I have really just started playing with.
Does the C6 have some kind of "nanny mode" or something?? I have a 2012 C6 coupe with A6 paddle, and when just driving, it seems fine, I have hit the go pedal doing 70 and it will still throw me back in my seat every time, but from a stand still the car is basically a slug. It does not matter if I have it in D or S, if I have TC/AH on, off, competitive, or any setting it will bark tires, but won't spin them and wont break loose the rear end. I have done some playing with it over the past couple weeks, and if I try to do a burnout/power brake, or even just rev it, the engine it seems to bog down on me. Anyone else experience this? My next step is taking to the dealer to have a diagnostic run on it, then a tuner, but anyone have any insight on what could be wrong before I go this route? |

If I take off Track control mine is a beast.scary. Floor it in second and the tires break loose.

I had a 2005. I thought when you put the car in competitive mode you could do anything you wanted.
Sounds like it's still throttling you back. I'd take it to the dealer. After all, it is a Corvette. You ought to be able to smoke those expensive-ass tires if you want to. |
