Tough week. Wife went to heaven yesterday
Sorry, need to vent.
Yesterday my Denise went to heaven.  Tomorrow is her funeral. Cancer is a brutal terrible disease. I watched it killing her for the last year. Slowly destroying her, from the inside. 53 yrs old. Not nearly enough time for her on this earth. I know she's now in heaven and finally out of pain. Pray to God that they find a cure for this. She was diagnosed last Saturday morning. They gave her 30 days.  She had 8 on morphine. Tomorrow is her funeral. Hope I can fight through the tears.

My my deepest condolences for the loss of your Denise. Recently lost my mother in law to a sudden cancer diagnosis. She had a good run to 85. 53 is way too young.

Denise is Jewish. As for dying for a year, yes. All the signs were there as she slowly deteriorated. I finally had enough and took her to the ER LAST Friday night. Lost all energy, 40lbs, unable to eat the last week and lost control of her functions. I finally forced her to the hospital. They ran tests and knew within 4 hours. They did give her 30 days since she was riddled with cancer. She only made it through 8 before passing. |
