Thanks to the NY City idiots that run this state for many years we could not get real gas.(none Ethanol) Then it started appearing at a much higher price of course at some stations. The closest one then was about 20 miles away so we only got gas their if we were going to be in that area.

I used None E for my Vettes I also carried 5 gallon cans in my pickup and bought None E for my boat and many 2 stroke toys and tools.


Then a few years ago most stations sold real gas but at more money but was worth it to me. I will use crap gas in my DD Toyota 4X4 but as we live quite rural I like to keep some gas on hand. You never know what will happen either by a pissed off Mother Nature or the usual people rioting and looting to shut down the gas supply.


For storage, boat and my two strokes I will only use None E with stabilizers. I rotate it out starting at about 9 months so that way I should always have a few gallons of good gas available. Its safe as its in a outbuilding a decent distance from the house.
