You can figure out why this is being ignored.
IMO, the criminal needs to be address and put in jail, as no other way to interpret her actions, disgusting and violent, a poor loser.

You can view comments on many social media sites, some are justifying the action by stating, 'she must have open her mouth and said something to deserve the punch'.

Yet again another daily event swept under the rug by those who will never address the facts.

Yeah, just searched for updates and got that,,, she is a fifth-year senior, so she cannot be suspended for games next season.

I doubt she will be prosecuted, as probably had youth deficiencies that her defense will blame.

May have been redshirted, or got a 5th year due to an injury that cancelled or shortened one of her four seasons on the team.

You are probably correct on the assault AND battery, but I do not know the local / city / county laws.

Here is the law for FL:

How can somebody charged with assault NOT be eliminated from playing a sport in the very venue she proved she couldn't control herself.
