Those little holes in a brick? I’m no dick expert like you but nice tight 20 something sounds more appealing to me!

I thought I might offer some advice but as it turns out your mind is closed. Folks in nj used to be that way too, but after getting smacked down now realize this is a bigger issue. Many homeowners here have fought long legal battles to get liens removed and riparian rights restored. (As an example in 2017 I got an emergency order to remove my boat from behind my home or the DEP would confiscate. This came with aerial photos and the boat circled in red. ).

I wish you luck in not going through a similar, 8 year fight as I am. I have thus far spent 168000 fighting this nonsense. The Army Corp has say on dredging permits of navigable waters, and where spoils of dredging are dumped, but you know that.

Cant let it go can ya.... I was fine with your ignorance until you called me a bull shitter....

I have already had a complete sea wall, dock, and dredging done all in accordance to local and DMR regulations. My permit is good for two years, so I dont need to pull a new one to have the dredging completed.

So if you gotta beef about my permits, call DMR and bitch at them

What's to think about? These floating docks are pretty much maintenence free. Why would I want to put install anything that uses electricity and has moving parts and motors especially being in salt water?

I would much rather my boat was completely out of the water high and dry on a lift. They are built of SS and aluminum and really work well. And your boat bottom, outboard, the depth finder transducer and other equipment is out of the water.

I see your point, and agree totally. But....Maybe I didnt make it clear in the photos...the boat, motor, transducer and every thing else IS completely out of the water on these type of floating docks. Once you drive up on the dock, you use raise the engine or outdrive up and it is out of the water. When ready to back off the dock, you simply lower your engine into the water and reverse off.

No moving parts (except for the rollers), no electricity, and no motors for the salt air/water to corrode. Easy, peasy....

This is a stock photo, not my boat, but shows how completely out of the water the boat sits....

Understood.

I prefer the outboard not be tilted when sitting. And the boat above the water and wake/wave action.
You are correct that those boat lift motors eventually go to crap. Probably about the same time those plastic drive on docks do.
(Jk)

Good luck with it. Post up pics when you get it installed.

I do like the motors stored in the up position. It puts pressure on the hydraulic ram's seals and is better for them in the long run.

I agree about wanting the boat stored in a way that waves and wotnot won't toss it around, though. Lifting it also makes it easier to spray down the hull to keep it clean.

The Wave Armor dock is foam filled and warranted for 20 years. Best on the market. As for wave/wake action, in my case, I am at the end of the canal and get little if any wave/wake action. As for keeping outboard tilted, that also is not an issue since there is a locking device that the outboard sits on when in tilt mode on outboard engines.

Probably gonna be a hot minute before I get it installed. Im having problems getting someone to finish dredging.
