Here's my observations. You drop this 'I'm entitled to my opinion' bomb with some regularity. You play that like a Get out off Jail Free card when you're climbing up someone's ass. Sure. You're entitled to your opinion just like everyone else.

You however don't seem to understand the concept of diminishing returns. You argue and argue (Yes argue) with UD and couch the whole thing in why should he be allowed to spew his bullshit . Excuse me but who make you the Sheriff of Righteousness? And more importantly, who gives a ****?

Fair enough. And as captain Obvious says, you are certainly entitled to your opinion. When I am the Lone Ranger in a debate/argument/discussion, I am very capable of evaluating my perspective and either sticking to it, or adjusting. When I'm not he Lone ranger, then I feel some sense of "it's not just me" and yeah, I will rally.

You know what you read/what I post, like anyone else. You don't know me. My engaging here is for mental stimulation and a chuckle thrown in. It's why I post in political, babe, music, car, house, lawn, money, DIY, and all other threads. I happen to enjoy going back and forth with those that have a differing opinion. There IS value and you CAN learn from it. Sometimes you learn how to fight harder for your beliefs. Sometimes you eat humble pie and have to apologize for being dead wrong.

What is the value in me, or anyone, saying vanilla ice cream sucks...and there's no reply or everyone agrees? Do I get to feel good about liking vanilla ice cream just like everyone else? We can all march in lockstep to the ice cream store? I'd rather engage in a discussion where I say I like vanilla ice cream and everyone tries to tell me it sucks. THAT is interesting.

As far as diminishing returns, this isn't an investment. It's a time killer. Watching TV gets boring, scrolling my phone gets boring. This isn't boring to me.

This ENTIRE thread was 100% unnecessary and done for impact. Maybe choosing sides? Seeking allies or support? I have no idea. The exchange took place in NOVEMBER FFS. Get over it ! I didn't give it a second thought until someone asked where he was. Then this shit comes up. I thought women were the ones digging shit up from the past. Kryst, this was a moment in time that past months ago. Let me go find a thread from 2010 and see if I can stir some shit about it.

You don't even realize it, but you are actually a positive example of a point I made in my PM to him.

Agree. I'm addressing this thread and post #1 and the need to mention anything about the PMs at all. I'm apparently a part of the reason he disappeared. Sounds like butthurt to me.

I don't understand that at all. I watch the cameras at my house off and on all the time. I know when someone is at the door, out in the yard, in the driveway, etc. I can see if the dog is chewing something, if my mom fell down the steps, etc.
If I had a child in school and I could watch them in class as I see fit, I would want that capability. I don't know how that is construed as pedophilia. I don't care what the other kids are doing as long as they aren't harming my kid.

There is very little in this world that can't be used for nefarious reasons. Much like this forum, the administrators know who is watching. I would expect a school system would far exceed what happens here with regard to safety.
