Happy Friday folks. What an day. My wife ended up with 10 inches of her small intestine removed along with portions of her appendix and colon. Recovery will be rough, but long term outlook is optimistic. Now that this section that the surgeon described as "Crohnsey" is gone, they are confident that she will see a much improved quality of life.

That's quite a bit to have removed. Hopefully it helps alot and was isolated to that area.

Good luck to her with a speedy recovery... I'll need an address to send the bell for her to summon you.
