Default What's for dinner tonight?

I had smoked trout with horseradish sauce, white asparagus with a dollop of Duke's mayo, 2 thick slices of a vine ripe tomato, and a French baguette. And a gin and tonic, of course. Delicious! What's on your plate tonight?

Apple is the secret ingredient to many recipes. I use it in all lettuce based salads, fish sauces, chicken salad, tuna salad, etc.

Sweet chili duck wings, a side of onion rings. A Bell's Hopslam with the meal and a Delirium Tremens for dessert. Yum.

Had guests tonight. SIL and her boyfriend were here. Tri-Tip with bourbon marinade, broccoli with cheese sauce and rice pilaf. For desert a chocolate cream pie with graham cracker crust and whipped cream. Wildhurst Petit Syrah wine to drink.

I am stuck pretty much in the middle of nowhere in North Florida and the hotel told me about this place. I had my doubts but it was damn good barbeque and the other stuff looked great.

Pizza....for me it was more the company I had dinner with. Old Corvette running mate who got stationed overseas 8 years ago is in the area for training so we were up till 4am watching Velocity, and catching up...emails and facebook are ok, but there is nothing like good old face to face conversation.

My wife is still filling in for someone at work today, I got back from playing golf a couple hours ago. I'm thinking we'll just run out somewhere. Old Chicago sounds pretty good right now actually.
