Frederick is definitely lonely. He usually sits close to where B.O.B. always like to nap close to the fireplace. Since Saturday, he's been the most needy lap dog and will get up to follow me or dad whenever we leave the room. I've been making marinara sauce all morning in the kitchen, so had to bring his blankets in, put them kinda out of the way, and make a spot for him to chill out and not be alone. He misses his buddy, too.

Frederick is very lonely and tries to tackle me when I walk in the door. I let him out to do his thing on thegrass, then he comes in at his pace (not like Adam Sandler at a medium pace). Then I sit on the couch and have to pick him up to sit with me for a bit (usually two TV shows) to get his belly rubs and ear scratchin. Love that little guy, too. If I don't pet him enough or scratch behind his ears the right way he whines. Gotta give in to the little guy.... he is family and has made our family much better showing what unconditional love is.

Harley-Belle didn't know what to do with herself with Bandit being gone, albeit, for less than 24 hours. She was very happy when he came home, although she didn't get to attack him. Yet. She knows that he's here, and she is looking for him. They will likely get to be together tomorrow, when his drugs wear off.

Oh, Loki and Nukka were also excited when Bandit came back home. Yes, the dogs do form powerful bonds with each other.

You got it right. He is so needy because he is the last of the pack. He is 17 y/o and an old man, so my family and I do what we can to keep him healthy and comfy. He can't do walks anymore, but he loves a ride in the car/truck sitting on the arm rest. Yes, he gets it every day and if he doesn't he will go out the front door and look at the vehicle...then us...then the door..then us like he is saying, "hey, you are my pet humans. where is my ride in the A/C so I can fall asleep comfy with the car's. vibrations, dumbass?"

I go to my parents' house on weekends and a few days a week. When I have to go to the auto parts store, he goes with me and the people working there love him (buncha chicks....not all attractive). He loves it.

"Fred, get in the truck... we are going to the parts store." He runs to the truck at his old age, I pick him up to put him in the car or my truck, and he sits on the center console excited. B.O.B. did the same. Gotta love the little guys.

I also honestly believe as a saved Christian, God does take care of those who take care of his other creatures. I also believe God put the other creatures on this Earth to make sure we aren't complete assholes, too.
