47 years married for us, but we dated for 8 years before that starting in high school.
A blue suit in the parlor Justice of the Peace affair in 1975 and it "took" the first time. No skywriting marriage proposals in the air, no big wedding with stale goldfish and rubber chicken reception and the honeymoon was two nights on Skyline Drive and then back to work. Too goofy, horribly poor kids that made a go of it and now we are well off and enjoying retirement. |

Today is the day ! Can't believe it,50 years married to the girl I knew in grammar school ! ....plans changed a bit,waiting to see if daughter,son-in-law and grandson are coming. So Sinners put on hold until next week.....maybe we'll all go to the Ark tonight then.
Thanks for your well wishes....How many people would do it over again ? I would...maybe with a few changes here and there but I would sign up for another 50
