Default Ok...so I got bored again....
New project....I sold the Dodge Gasser project for two reasons. MOPAR shit cost a fortune....and second....I made money.... But Im always looking for my next project and stumbled upon this '51 Chevy Bel Air. It is very similar to one I owned a few years ago that I should not have sold. Anyway....this car was on FB market place for trade. I asked him what his cash price was and bought it on the spot... Needs paint, body work and interior. Already has Camaro sub frame, so power steering, and power disc brakes. Well done too. Eng/trans and 10 bolt posi rear. New wheels and tires, 17's in front and 20's in the back. Car is drivable so I will have something for CTC in October if the '32 isnt on the road by then.

Not really....when you compare the 50-52 Chevs to the tri-5's or the 58 and up, these were small in comparison..

Most of the hard stuff is done. I plan on doing the paint an body myself and as much of the interior as I can. Only has a shitty pair of racing buckets in it so Im gonna scrounge the junk yard for a pair of buckets and a back seat that will fit. Car is already drivable and just needs some tweeking.

As you can see...the interior is seriously lacking creature comforts....

Nice to see that it has a big block, dont be messin with any of that 396 stuff,
if you are going to have a 750# engine, it should be a 600HP 454

Took a second look and it looks like an adapter to bolt on big block valve covers

I picked up some cheap seats from a 2012 Acura TSX today just to see what will fit. They actually fit pretty well. Back seat will need some minor modification, but should do nicely. Now at least I have a good idea how I want the interior to go.
