Default Can anyone recommend a fairly economical mans style hair treatment solution?
I'm an old fart in my 60's who hasn't had a haircut in about a year since I got a military style buzzcut. I've decided to let my freak flag fly, the issue is my hair is dry and thin and I need to pump up the hair volume and health. The 88 cent bottle VO5 shit ain't hacking it anymore.

I've been out there eye-****ing ideas on how to go with shampoos and conditioners, but realize the hucksters are legion. I would appreciate any input. TIA

If it's thin and brittle, then just get a decent conditioner. And don't worry about it. My dad had a full head of hair until the day he died. My head looks like a Kansas corn field during a 100 year drought. Much easier to go with a #2.5 all over than try to make it look like something it's not.

Pantene makes a shampoo and conditioner for volume. I used to like nexus but uni lever bought them out and changed the formulas. P Mitchell awapuhi shampoo and detangler conditioner are my current favorites after hair color and then Pantene.

I like Aveda products. They have a men’s line. Prose products are also good.
