need help with 86 c4 fuel problem

I have no power at the pin for fuel pump relay, I a think the pin is is supposed to have 12v always and it gets it thru the fuseable link. cannot locate link plug pin is dead as is the 12v fuse for pump, can i just tie in new fuseable link to pin e and cut the other wire out? any help appreciated

Actually I don't believe that's right. The fuel pump primes the system and will then shut down if the engine isn't running. Try it when you first turn the key and see if you have power at that point in time.
