Default Hypertech chips: How do I find out about one?

Previous owner gave us a Hypertech chip with the Vette. I tried to find out some info on it but on their site can't find snything, It's a plug in unit. It has the following numbers on it:
On the raised protion with the window:
ST 88809S
27256 F6X
On the long portion under the pins:
BCT SYSTEMS 1062

Anyone have any knowledge on these?

That glass window on the chip is how it's erased (by putting it under UV light for a half hour or so). Normally that's covered-up after it's programmed, and a part number label is commonly used to do that.

It looks like there's some old label glue on the chip, like the original label may have been removed (or may have just dried-up and fallen off). That missing label probably had the info you want, and it's probably no more than an electronic hobbyist's curiosity without that info.
