Default Alien?
Our Ring Doorbell caught this apparition the other night. Any idea what caused it? An alien is the only logical explanation I can come up with.

Lots of discussion about these on the Ring Community forum. Consensus seems to be that it's an insect on the lens. I prefer my alien explanation.

Do those doorbells record video 24/7? How do you know where to look for the movement captured? Do you have to go through the entire video to find movement?

I think they've always had motion - detect - record. Once it detects movement, it will record up to 60 seconds. Then it stops and waits for more motion.
