pretty good rain last night, about 1/2" of water and mud in most of my shop. what a mess.

thankfully, everything sets on rubber wheels, or in the case of the table saw, metal feet. drill press is at a high point, so it didn't get wet at the base. broomed out what i could, will have to open up the shop doors tomorrow and let it air out.

yuck.

I thought you built a kinda dam around the shop building to divert the mud and water around it Doug?

About an acre slopes to the back door. Heavy rain overwhelms the ditch I dug.

preparing for the pool closure, dayum i have a lot of crap surrounding the pool, aww well cant wait to have it closed, also shutting off the filter damn thing is expensive to run

off to shovel dirt, need to direct water away from the back of the guesthouse. some came thru the CMU foundation and got into the garage.
