Ye Ol' Logging Exhibition -pics and vids
One of the local LARGE road construction owners has an antique logging exhibition on his family property every winter. It was a little smaller this year due to the excessive rain we've gotten this year but still a nice show.
In his garages are plenty of antique trucks, bulldozers and other equipment from when the business started plus from other businesses they've acquired. I took two videos of old chain saws in use. The largest log is being cut by a Homelite 650 in the first video and Homelite 575 in the second video. They also have company picnics here. For the 30th anniversary of the company, Willy Nelson was musical entertainment. For the 40th, it was the Oak Ridge Boys

old chainsaws
yes, the aluminum cased one with the cord is electric. ( 1st chainsaw pic between the two long bars ) The generator is green for that unit

They have one in Mich by my lake house every year. Old steam engine sawmill with all the other goodies.
