I see no ADM yet, also DNK that a 3LT is $20K as base price is around $63K, still a great car at that price, but I never buy new as I see great values on a 2-year old car for which the seller can take the depreciation hit.
I am on Ciocca / Kerbeck list for C8Z, will probably get mine in 3+ years, but by then, given this ahole administration, I may only be able to afford a bus pass. |

I was looking at the OP, and zooming in to see the MSRP, when my wife looked over my shoulder, and said "If you want to sell your '70, and buy that, just do it."
She might be a keeper. As sad as it is, I am seriously thinking of selling my '70 in the spring. I have driven it a total of 45 miles this year because my arthritic left knee just will not let me work the clutch any more. I have some projects I started that I would like to finish, one got finished this week, and then I think I will be ready to let it go. Kind of a bummer, but I've been here before with my '69 vert; I had no plans on selling it ever, but my wife went and got herself pregnant, so it was time to let the toy car go. Actually, after it was gone, I really wasn't sad at all. It's just a car, and there are millions more out there. I'm sure that when I let this one go, sooner or later, I'll find another that I'm excited about, and fits my lifestyle/physical limitations. |

Talked with a guy that has owned 3 of them. 2 of them were totaled. He said a front strut went through the tub or major part of the under body that totaled it. Another one had some kind of major damage and the insurance totaled it (non-accident). He was trying to currently sell the one he was driving. He did say he didn't pamper them and raced on local drag strips and other courses with them. He said they just wouldn't hold up if you really pushed them hard.
He was 30ish and you could tell full of piss and vinegar. His blonde girlfriend in the passenger seat looked like a model...mercy. Big dimples, curly blonde hair, a smile that would make you hard for a week. After a few glimpses of her and trying not to stare like a crazed stalker it reminded of that George Jones song. "It ain't the car I want It's the blonde in your 'vette that turns me on" |
