I agree, but damn if they were serious about getting deep into the poll, they should have not played 4 girl schools to start the year.

Many do it, and most open dates are scheduled years in advance, but UCLA is trying hard to get noticed, playing wimpy schools is not going to help.

Again, they all do, and the better teams get away with it, except I notice, and many get their asses handed to them before the season ends.

You forgot the ACC and Big 12, all do it,,, IMP the ones who do not get more votes, and also know the true depth of their talent.

I watched FSU Saturday, they suck, at most every position, noth side of the line are terrible, but not nearly as bad as the 10 guys they rotate for DBs, their offensive weapns are decent, but damn they are very low on talent, their 4-0 record was fluff, they have a long, long way to go before they can challenge for an ACC ttitle.

They play Clemson at home in two weeks, I would bet not bet on them, and depending on the line, I could leverage Clemson for a new pair of shoes.

This is the first year that UCLA has ever done this since they started playing football over 100 years ago. USC and ND still haven't. Obviously it's worked for the nSEC and Big 10 the last 75 years.
