I like sunny side up, but most places don't cook them enough so they still have mucous on the top. But I cook sunny up at home, and here's a trick: Low heat, put eggs in frying pan with cover, get them nearly done, then put a bit of water in and re-cover briefly. The steam will cook the snot on the top and yolks will still be runny. |

A friend had just gathered these. I wash them as I use them so they stay fresher longer. Those two were the dirtiest so they got washed and used first.

begin then - "next time, break it in a cup". And I'm like "why, the shell gets in the cup too!" Kind of bums her out then when she is hospitalized, they will not serve eggs that way. Only scrambled - and cold. |

Sometimes I would get an omelette and I asked him how he melted the cheese on top -- that's exactly what he told me. So I tried it with sunny side up eggs, and of course it works great. |

Was not a poached egg fan so I tried making them this morning. Followed a video from the net, they turned out pretty good. Just ate them on some toast, a little S&P, tasty.
I need a little more practice cooking, should have it down perfect soon. |
