My first band I was in when I moved back to FL in 2012 was me, age 35-ish, and 3 other guys in their 50’s 60’s. All rock music and the bass player was black.

I wanted the band to be called “Homey and the Honkey Brothers” but, Nooooo!!! It was too much like hoodie and the blowfish

One of the band names considered for my band was Skinny Lizzard. It was voted down for being too close to Lynyrd Skynyrd.

We went with Tangent for a while because no one could stay focused on a song.

Ended up with DNA - No meaning, but jokingly we said it was the National Dyslexic Association.

Another metal band I was in we called ourselves “The illegitimate Sons of God.” That name made it kinda hard to get a club to hire us.
