Is gas really headed to $4/gallon again?

I think it all depends on Israel's reaction to the Irani's attack.

If Israel retaliates the Irani's will continue and price goes up.

If Israel holds back and Iran stops due to the attack being futile, gas will drop.

Add in conflict in the Middle East (or not) and it’s a great excuse to raise the price of gas. Of course there is always the fall back excuses of “the sun is coming up”, “the sun is going down”, and last but not least, “summer blend”.

If "Big Oil" can raise prices arbitrarily, why didn't they keep them at $5 as they were a couple years ago?

When they were around $4.30 here in 2008, within a couple months they plunged to under $2 per gallon. Why didn't Big Oil keep them at $4.30?

It's the government, as usual, interfering and distorting the free market. It's what they do.

I must say that gas is a lot less expensive in other states than Maryland.

So there is that.

Air is still $2 bucks on average no matter where you are.


What happened to Nitrogen? Never, not once saw a green tire fill scenario .
