I left sport bikes behind a few years ago. I started with dirt bikes at 11 or 12. Street/sport bikes from 20's to 40's, now it's cruisers/Harleys.

I would use the term sport bike loosely with that GS. Flat wide handlebars and seat, upright seating position (little less so in the GS). No cruiser, no crotch rocket, just something quick and comfortable for hours. No winnebagos either. Naked early gold wing acceptable.

Hey bar peeps. I tried to read up on that BS thread over there. Just another reminder why I post here more. Not like I am a regular, but damn.

I hate to ask all you ballers, but fug it.... With a $40k max budget and no real requirements, what would you buy? Pre owned only. I will let someone else take the depreciation hit.

So far I drove a Lexus IS at the insistance of my mother who is a Lexus fangirl. I was not impressed at all even with the F Sport model, and nothing in my price range was appealing at all.

I am leaning heavily towards a Jaguar F Type, (decent C7's are out of my price range) but I am worried about future maintenance, and honestly I am concerned with the serious lack of room. I would like to be able to carry 2 golf bags.

My wife thinks we need to keep an SUV because of the Dobermans, so the Cadillac XT5 is still in play, but that is an old lady car. I will begrudgingly accept it.

I think that her BMW Gran Turismo has plenty of room for the dogs with the seats folded. If I am getting another Caddy, I like the CT6 or ATS. By far the Caddy is best bang for the buck.
