Red interior is the best part of the car, IMO. I worked on those cars new and they were worse than the 1981's, which in CA, were terrible. The crossfire intakes liked to suck the gaskets in and leak, there were also camshaft issues, etc. In CA, the car would be a pass because it has to be smog tested every 2 years and actually pass a tough test. If I were looking for a C3, on the cheap, I would look for a '73-'74 which is pre cat converter and much easier to work on. Hell, anything '79 and back would be fine. Knowing what I do about the crossfire set-up as a retired mechanic, I would pass on this car personally. YMMV...
