Default The Ghost and the Devil

A Littlle Scouting for the C4 Bomber Run

Going North

This is where I wondered about the wisdom of having the top down.

The EVIL ROAD This road has two way traffic.

On a real road again!

SOLVANG

Pete decided to go further north to find more roads and adventure. I went south.

10 Miles from home, the Rincon Road Below

For the C4 Guys from Pete.

Sending pm with thr cell is chsllenging lol.

I still on the road and stopped in santa maria for the night. Tomorrow I will finish this road trip/bomber run scouting with a new route I found.

Ive driven all over, PCH north, santa cruz and back south. I found a great twisty road, took me to the pacific and it was a dead end. I had to drive back and laughed at myself. I let the love, lust and attraction to twisty roads get to me and got bit in the ass.lol

Guys, this run is going to rock and it may be a multiple day expedition.

Say hello to everybody. Its a bitch to post using this but, i can read them all. The CF has a mobil forum so loads faster and without graphics.

He better get bail money ready too, 'cause I'm in.

Going to overnight with a buddy in PHX, and the following day will drive into Santa Barbara (or wherever we launch from). Got the dates cleared on the calendar, Marco will be ready, time to burn up some pavement.

Cruise is tentatively April 14th. I'm looking at heading out on the 12th, staying a night in Phoenix to see an old buddy, and then heading in to SoCal on the 13th. Overnight in Santa Barbara on the 13th, up bright and early for the Bomber Run on Sat the 14th.

Subject to Change if Pete needs to, but I've already requested the days off. You could come in to El Paso on the 11th...and we could head out the following AM.

I took several days off work, so can take the scenic route home. Mrs. Friz can't get any time off, so I'm flying solo.

How far north are you going? Perhaps the Mighty Taurus can head to the left coast and work his way down.

Mid month is good for work as month end/beginning are bad to miss. My father and sister live in Tucson so I'm thinking maybe head to Tucson on the 7th and then catch up with you in Phoenix on the 13th to head out to Santa Barbara. I always try to see my dad every year so I could kill 2 birds as they say. Just thinking out loud and no thought of the return home trip. It would be difficult this far out to get serious but it does sound doable. We are trying to sell our place still so that could kill any plans i try to make.

Make it happen. We need your spiritual guidance...unless you plan to bully us.

Pete was still thinking it out yesterday, but, he was musing about meeting at Santa Barbara and heading north.

If you can show up, I will bring my sacred watch fob, patent applied for.

It would be an honor to have The Mighty Taurus in California.

How North? Hearst Castle
