Masks required even after getting the vaccine?!?!WTH!!!

Our update this afternoon was the same, the vaccine does not prevent getting and spreading the virus, only becoming ill from it. I sense masks until fall.

sounds like our idiot governor. law gives her permission to declare an emergency for 30 days. but gives her too much latitude to keep extending it, indefinitely. so hopefully the legislature will revise that and reign her in a bit. "two more weeks, and we'll see how well you peasants are behaving...."

If the state you are in has a mask mandate like ours then it is not out of line to have a sign on the door saying you need a mask to enter or that a manager or employee of the store say something to someone that is not wearing one...unless of course you have a medical condition that dictates you can not wear one.Personally I think it's easier to wear the mask,get your few things and leave in peace.

I was recently taking some bird pictures -outside- and a woman approached me and mentioned I should be wearing a mask. I ignored her very existence which pissed her off even further.

I guess my point is this; if you feel that strongly that masks are pointless, and I do, just go about your business and ignore the mask Nazis. It'll be a a cold day in hell before I engage a supermarket manager about these things.

Unless I misread, I think DJ's point of him being singled out for not wearing a mask when several others weren't was his complaint. If there's a mandate, fine. It's the law so you wear a mask. But if you're going to hold one accountable, hold all accountable.

He was not specific as to whether there was a mandate in his state.

Wife and I will walk and ride bikes and will not wear masks,we will bring one in case we want to stop at a store along the way. If someone told me to wear a mask while outside I would wish them a nice day and keep walking.

Mask requirement is unenforceable here. I wore one. Washed my hands. Avoided crowds. Used sanitizer and still caught the crap. I don't wear one anymore. Got a nasty look from a beotch at Home Depot the other day. I just gave her a shit eating grin in return.
