I kinda like it. There are a couple cobra replicas that cruise around the hood and I wonder what those poor bastards do when the skies open up and drop gallons of water out of nowhere. This would fix that.

that's a hell of deal, and the parts alone are worth what he's asking for the package. You could part it out and MAKE money if you wanted, or finish it for a nice little cruiser that will always be worth what you have in it. It's so good a deal, it actually sounds suspicious to me....like a scam or stolen???

No way of knowing if it's stolen, but it is a helluva deal. Even if his work isn't very good, it's at a stahe where anything wrong can be corrected. I like that he installed vintage air, which you will need in these little hot boxes, and the 4-speed automatic transmission is a nice bonus. The seller is right about the price of the engine.

Not many people have the ability to assemble these cars, at least to do it correctly. Granted, he's done the hardest part, but it's still a long way from completion.

The appeal is this, whether you like the looks or not: These cars are tiny, as small as or smaller than a Miata. The doors on the original cars remind you of a taco shell, about as light and strong. Then you fire it up...and it feels like you are literally sitting on top of a torpedo. The acceleration is just incredible. It is the only car that ever scared me....

I like the original cars. I even like the small block AC cars with wire wheels vs. the Shelby. I don't like the dime a dozen reproductions.
