Default SBC 350 oil pressure/flow....

Got 5 quartz in the sump, spinning oil pump with a drill, in place of the dizzy...getting over 25 psi pressure on gauge.....BUT I note there is no oil flow to the rockers, I thought it went up the hollow push rods to get to the rockers and just splashed it way around up top, .....AM I RONG?? or is there some missing part I not installed?? an oil supply pipe fitting??

please tell us you put in new rods. Also, sometimes it takes a lot to spin that pump up and get the oil flowing up top. You're not spinning it as fast as the engine would.

Nah, they they old push rods, all soaked in gasoline and blown out, and sighted through, they clean, and polished up outside too....ends look new....

Try a higher powered drill or spin it longer and see if any comes out.

Did you install a new oil pump and check the oil pan clearance?

I imagine you can install the dizzy, leave the coil wire unplugged, and spin it over with the starter to see if oil comes out.
