News: Ed Orgeron is out at LSU after this season.

Friday Night Football: Memphis @ UCF currently underway on ESPN 2. Good AAC match-up.


Game of the Week: LSU @ #12 Ole Miss
Ole Miss recovered nicely from their drubbing by Alabama, and won a tough road game at Tennessee last week, with their defense doing a great job against the Vols' high-flying offense. Lane Kiffin was warmly welcomed back in Neyland Stadium.

LSU is now coached by a dead man walking. Ed O. is out, but gets to finish the season. VERY unusual circumstance with half the season left to play. LSU has been entertaining if nothing else, and this could be a wild one.

Every time there's a meh looking slate of games, we get a bunch of compelling football like we've had so far today. The incredible 9OT finish for Illinois over Penn State, Kansas battling might Oklahoma to the very end, Cincy escaping with a 1 score win at Navy, Undefeated Oklahoma State losing at Iowa State in a physical battle, Pitt scoring the big win over Clemson and continuing to look like probably ACC champs.

Hopefully Tennessee @ Alabama somehow is a good game. Or better yet, hope my GameCocks can somehow compete with A&M.

Obvious game of the week for next week is Michigan @ Michigan State. Last 2 remaining undefeated B1G teams.

Oregon should be ahead of Ohio State, they beat 'em on their own field. Also, while they may be missing their star RB now, they have back their star DE who was injured when they played Ohio State, and frankly is a better and more important player.

Alabama is rolling again but their defense still has issues. Best of the 1 loss teams.

Notre Dame vs. Kentucky for #10 was a toss-up for me.

Posted one off the most amazing years yet a year and a half later LSU is done with him.
Was the Head Coach for USC for eight games and went 6-2 and whined like a little bitch when they wouldn't hire him permanently.

Did real well at Ole Miss as a head coach went 10-25 in 3 years. Tuco from Pennsylvania love fest for the SEC. A big fAU fan also. Somebody say bandwagon fan
