30+ years ago I used to troll the tweakers on the CB radio late at night. One night, going into my Pappa Thermodyne routine, I had a rubber band holding the 'talk' button down on the mic, and my Kris Boomer 1600 watt linear on, and I blew the finals out of my radio because I 'bucked mouthed' too long without a 'flat match' antenna. Things got hot and poof. I'll bet Yadkin or Louie_Detroit would know how to fix it. Still have that old thing. Vacuum tubes and all.
