Morning Mick.. Also had to ask. I might want to get some of them.
I have some battery powered candles that come on automatically for 5 hours per night. They really don't throw much light, just a small LED in there. Enough that when I come in at night with no lights on, I can avoid the furniture until I get to a lamp, but nowhere near as much light as a real candle.

Morning CB

Morning A/E

Morning Mick

Morning Ben Ben and a water back I like my whisky neat or on the rocks.

Morning Rikki

Morning Nicky. You won't see my car at the office today. I already work my five 12 hour days this week. The man can kiss it this weekend. How is The Rocket?

My Vette suffered the dreaded C7 GS Z06 cracked wheel this week. The right rear is cracked in two places. I am deciding to buy one replacement wheel or by a set of different wheels. I guess I will shop for wheels today. So I have to spend some of my hard earned money today.

Morning RM.

Apparently the problem has occurred countless time on C7 GSs and Z06s. I have read about the problem for awhile on the forums and the problem finally found me. The question is do I spend $500 on a replacement or do I spend the sky is the limit on a new set of a different brand?

The 15 year old rims on my C6 are doing fine. Maybe you should get a set of them.

My grandpa was a bookie, and he got up super early every day to pick up issues of the Racing Form and deliver it to his best clients. He called it his paper route, and it was always a treat for me as a kid to wake up and go on his paper route with him. He would by me a Bicycling magazine at the newsstand when I went with him, and he would let me deliver the papers to the peoples doors. Wow great memories!

I guess it depends on how long you’ll keep the car. Me (being frugal) would probably replace the one rim. Would you trust a used one being true? May be cheaper!

This is the first wheel I have every cracked or bent. I mean, I don't drive like Candie.

I will probably drive it two to three years and then by a C8. The spousal unit wants the current Vette when I but the C8. So we will have it another six or seven years. So I am leaning towards a set from another wheel manufacturer.

I had to exercise the nuclear option on a 37 year old friendship yesterday.

I could no longer be a Gump to her Jenny.

That is all.

I’m sitting in a Jiffy Lube waiting for my wife’s car to be inspected and these guys try hard to sell extra services to their customers. For instance, sir have you changed the cabin filter in your car? Hmm...no I haven’t because a 2010 Enclave DOESN’T HAVE ONE!!!

They think all customers are clueless about their cars.

Mr. B is this for a specific year car? Just wondering.

Rocket is great.

Dumb question, is that not covered? Seems odd that such a new vehicle has a bad wheel.

The last time I was in having my car inspected, I was sitting outside enjoying the weather and I looked around and saw one of their techs wrestling with the big shield under the engine of a Honda. I looked down and then back to see if the got it on the car and they were driving it out of the bay. I bet that that tech got tired of trying to get it back in and left it off. No true proof but it didn’t seem he had enough time to put all the screws and fasteners back in.

I only let them do inspections, nothing else.
