They really did it this time. Road is closed for at least a week. The official detour, for trucks, is about 30 miles.

ICNLT. Hey, do you know Eustace of Turtle Farm? He's a pretty cool guy, was on the Mountain Men TV show awhile back. Lives in your area, IIRC. Converted his Toyota Hi Lux to run on wood and mills lumber with a 130 year old mill.

He's a poseur. One of his shows was about the county giving him grief over a building that he built. I emailed him, offered to help, simple issue really, and he ignored me. It's all about the drama with that guy.

Why not go by and ask if you can have a few of those rocks? They'll probably load them in the Ranger for you, and be happy to get rid of a few. You'll just have to devise some kind of lever/fulcrum to get them out of the truck.
