When uploading pix via "Add attachment" there is no way of adjusting anything, can't space them or anything, no code shows, cannot alter anything in preview.

Assuming this tagged you correctly, I did it the same way as CF. Only difference is the fact that it doesn't offer you options/recommendations as you're typing the username.

1. Responsive mobile friendly version.
2. Easier image uploading and sizing, etc.
3. Easier to see/use all smilies.
4. User tagging (I don't see that this is possible now).

This forum is about the easiest to use out there, IMO. Other sites I visit have 'upgraded' to the point where they are slow, cumbersome, and user-unfriendly.
I like things fine the way they are. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I have to agree.

It seems everything that is upgraded makes things worse. Recently did the update on my phone and now I have to relearn half of the crap.

I can see why you love the old simple cars and trucks.

Normally, I agree 101% with this.

But upgrades sometimes are actually nice. Like intermittent wipers, caller ID, online banking, are a few that I like.

Back in the day, the only way you could post images on a forum was to find an image hosting site, post the image there, then copy the image link to the forum where you want the image to appear and surround it manually with [img] tags. That's old school, but I still have do it sometimes.

Ten or so years ago, forums figured out how to do this all in the background. Using the image option icon, just click an image on your device and bingo, it appeared in your post. What is actually happening is the forum itself is hosting the image, putting [img] tags around it -- all done automatically behind the scenes.

The Barn hosts your images with one's personal "Albums" pages, but there are a lot of steps involved and the capacity is quite limited.

To me, this would be the best single upgrade. @Rob
