He called my work one time roughly 10 years ago... maybe a little longer. The gal who answers my calls pokes her head in and says, "Some Cajun sounding dude is on the line, and I can't understand a damn thing he's sayin".

that made his nickname "Cajun" (from me) then quickly morphed over and over and ended up Ka-j00nZie

We had a lot of music we both enjoyed and there are numerous songs that pop up on my playlist that remind me of the goofy times he & I shared on the forums.

Funny... I never met him, but feel like I really knew him well. I really miss his humor!

This version of Go Your Own Way is the last song I remember jawing back & forth with Jimmy about. It's on my playlist now.

Jimmy actually was born in San Louis Obispo California. I busted his ass about that and said you're no Cajun. He laughed that Jimmy laugh really hard. Since Jimmy and myself play music i posted the greatest slide guitarist Sonny Landreth was from Lafayette his home town. He said he never heard of him. I put Jimmy on ignore and called blocked him. Being merciful i let him slide.


He loved this Youtube. It's at the Crossroads Guitar Festival. The one on the right singing is Sonny Landreth the best. The one on the left is Derek Trucks the second best.
