I lost power about two hours ago. Gusts at around 50mph shaking the house a bit. Just ridin’ the storm out.

Looks like this damn storm is gonna be blowing all night..... So far not much damage on my end. Blew out a window on my front "storm" door and looks like some fence in the back yard will be down before morning. Only lost power twice and only for a short time. Currently wind gusting 58 to 62 knots.

Here's a shot of my Rottie girl Roxie, earlier in the storm trying to decide if she really has to go or not....

Damage video. Yellow Corvette survived the storm @1:05. Wouldn't have found me or my car within 300 miles of that coastline. Crazy.

Well, looks like we got lucky here in the Gulfport Ms area. I only lost power for about a half hour but had my generator. I surveyed the area this morning and no real damage. Just a lot of small tree branches and standing water. Still have heavy rains and gusting winds, but nothing to be concerned about.

Zeta hit us harder last year. I guess Ida went just west enough for us to be spared. Looks like La. got hit pretty hard though....

No damage to the house. My car took a hit. Power won’t be restored for a long time so I out of here tomorrow.

It looks like a hurricane hit around here with all the downed trees.

This summer the county decided to put up these cheap wooden "storm fences" in an effort to keep the beach erosion down and sand off Hwy 90. Well now not only do we have the sand all over the street, but now these fences have blown up everywhere. Here's where a section of it came to rest along my property line....
