Mushrooms

We have lived in our house for 24 years. Up until this year I would see growing around trees. This year our yard front back and side is full of small mushrooms. When I cut the grass last week the mower cut them down. They have come back. Does anybody have any ideas what's causing this?

for us, the past 5 years has seen this; they're growing in the yard... randomly.

Their spawn has obviously been successfully incubated and set up for maximum flushing function.
