So from what I'm hearing, loss of taste presents very early on, if infected with Covid-19.
You may not present with any other symptoms, but if loss of taste occurs, you are a carrier.
You may or may not, subsequently present with other symptoms later on, however.

I think being appropriately concerned would be better than being overly concerned. I mean by definition "Overly" is too much.
