Looks great. 10/10.

One recommendation: you have an immersion blender? Make your own mayo. Way better than any store bought and super easy to make.

+1 for toasted bread.

We don't have a toaster.

Tomatoes were store bought; as usual my home grown tomatoes sucked. They're all still green. Only 2 kinda sorta ripened but they were crap anyway.

Also can't get Duke Mayo in Canada.

We don't eat a lot of bread, and never buy store-bought bread. Home-made bread usually doesn't fit in a toaster; not the way she makes it anyway.

Toaster crapped out a few years ago and we never bought another one.

I do have a Z06 though....so I feel there's balance in my life.

Some people don't like toasted bread because they don't want to tear up their mouth roofs. But there's a trick you can do to get that toasted goodness with nice soft pallet-friendly softness. Just toast one side on a hot buttered griddle. Then put the toasted sides on the inside of the sammich.

Cook bread on both sides on skillet in bacon fat.

That is usually caused by the plants not getting enough hours of sunlight per day during growing season. I'm starting to have problems growing my own for the same reason, the maturation of the trees around my house have left the sunniest spot in the yard only getting about 6 hours per day of sunlight in July and August. By September, that is down to about 4 hours, and any green tomatoes on the plant will not ripen.
