Cool Last show of the year at Rough and Tumble

Today was the final show of the year at Rough and Tumble Historical Association.

Here's some of the videos I took today.

A walk thru the Willock Building ( the second engine is my Olds/ also the preview picture )

This is a Klein Model 4 oil field engine.

A 15 hp Reid two stroke engine. The smaller "outside" cylinder precharges the fuel charge so you can get a power stroke every revolution

They were also using a Case Steam Tractor to power the sawmill.

We also have a two cylinder Kahlenberg marine diesel engine made in 1921. We contacted Kahlenberg to see about any manuals and the great grandson of the founder answered our inquiry

I got some video of the Cooper engine running too

pictures
top two are wrenches for the Cooper engine.
1st)The longest one is used the "bar" the engine over into starting position. On the concrete are an intake and exhaust valve
2nd) The slugging wrench is used to tighten the jam nut on the connecting rod. That's a 21-1/2" piston ring next to it.
3rd) That's the valve seat grinder leaning against the wall. The big yellow item is a slip joint pliers.
Also, the Cooper engine running under no load would consume the equivalent of that 20 lb propane cylinder in 5-7 minutes.

4th) Info on the Kahlenberg engine

5th) 10" cylinder hot air engine. That pumps water for cooling in the Willock and the Power House buildings. It also throws off a LOT of heat. That was real nice today as the temp was a cold and rainy mid 50s.

5th) My Olds engine
