gov don't take no for an answer
Got another letter last week telling me to activate my guvernmint debit card for covid relief. Ignored it like all the others. Don't want their plastic. So anywho, just walked out to the mailbox and found a check in it from them for 2 grand. No explanation included... It's like they're freaking mind readers

I've never heard of a gov COVID debit card -- who gets them? And I thought they were done handing out the big checks to everyone.
A Republican Trumpist buddy of mine is very open about "taking what I can get from the government." He and his wife are both retired and doing fine. It's very disappointing to hear him talk like that, but he was born and raised in Brooklyn so it's not surprising. |

Well in his defense, the government does try to get as much out of you (working people) as they can .

It's not a new handout. I didn't collect the previous handouts and it's burning a hole in their pocket. Been pestered with monthly reminders since Spring. Guess they're real serious about throwing money away on people who don't want it |

that would nicely cover a new 92x performance defensive, and some ammo too.

But never say never, I've been spending way too much time eyeballing single action revolvers in 45LC lately Held one of these once and it felt like I was born with it in my hand. |

Bet that's a blast to shoot Bruze. My first 44mag was a Super Blackhawk. Fun shooter but had some technical issues that I wasn't in a position to address at the time so I got rid of it.
Upgraded to a Super Redhawk a few years later which turned out to be one of the best shooters I own. It's double action but see the electricians tape on the rear of the trigger guard? This allows me to do a double action pull with a single action release and no trigger over-travel. Smooth as butter, can be performed every shot. It's like some kind of magic |
