Wife woke me up and told me I had slept til 9. I jumped up and felt great until I realized what day it really was.

Finally got an xray of my "natural" hip last week. They were nice enough to let me know that my hip is screwed up, but my lumbar spine is worse.

F getting old.

Worse. Now we get to send you to PT for 8 weeks before we call an ortho

Our fascist (The merging of state and corporate powers for the benefit of the elite at the expense of the people) healthcare system (Big Government + Big Pharma + Big Insurance + Big Hospitals) has only one direction it can possibly go: It will continue to get worse.

Any system -- whether HC or anything else -- that is run by government has only one method of controlling costs: rationing, and we're already seeing that here; I see it all the time.

This is why we've heard, for years now, of Canucks coming down here for important (time sensitive) surgeries and care, cuz the wait times in Canada were too long.

We Americans have no place to run. I'm glad I'm not young.
