This one is a little tough. It's probably my GT350. I've owned this car for 7 years, which is the longest I've had a car, and it's been pretty problem free. Did have the clutch replaced a couple years ago under the powertrain warranty because the slave failed.
A close second would be my Focus RS. It was such a blast as a DD and I miss that car often. I did just get a GR Corolla in October and it's a pretty fund car and may fill that RS void. 300 hp out of a 1.6L 3 cylinder is wild. AWD, manual transmission, hatchback, and gets 27 mpg. Can't complain. |

Truck = current 2021 F250 PSD. Three years of flawless performance. Without question the best and most capable truck I’ve owned. Truck = 1994 GMC Sierra 1500. Just a very cool short bed step side 4x4. Probably my favorite truck. Truck = 1986 Toyota 4x4 pickup. Those trucks are near indestructible. I was able to get almost stuck good in places that other trucks would not attempt. SUV = 2004 Tahoe Z71. Very nice and comfortable ride. Great on road trips. SUV = 2007 Acura MDX. Damn that thing drove like it was on rails. Super plush too. |

My IS-F. Fast, nimble, and problem-free (because Toyota).
My C6 is in second place becase it spent too much time in the shop; I dumped that bitch when one of the ABS sensors started failing. |

2008 VW R32. My 2019 VW Golf R was very good too, but never really grew to love a 4-door.

I loved all my classics (Corvettes, Mustangs, Camaros, T-birds) but my old 1955 Buick will always have a place in my heart. The backseat was the size of a basketball court and my dates and I took full advantage at the drive-in movies. I did the horizontal hula more times than I can count in that car.

2021 Corvette.
Why? Looks, reliability, performance, and wow factor. I effing love this car and can't wait to get the Z06. Pretty sure I'm going that way vs. the Porsche for several reasons, but most importantly what class I can compete those two cars in in my sport. |

I'd have to say my current ride - a 2017 Lexus LS 460 F-sport. Why?
Super reliable - nothing goes wrong. Nice handling, comfortable on long trips, decent gas mileage on the road. AWD - with aggressive all season tires GREAT in foul weather (snow, rain). 2nd would be our old lexus 1997 - and our corvette C6. All great cars zero issues. |

Pretty much all of them.
My wife has had some bad ones, however. She had a Early 2000's Trailblazer that got the worst fuel mileage of any car that we've owned, and it rode like a 70's Caddy: boat-float. Then she had a Ford Five Hundred. FWD, CVT, AWD. Nearly impossible to do repairs. As soon as I saw something leak (the AC compressor) I traded it in, and swore that it was my last sideways engine car. |

I made many, many posts about it on the CF. Being I knew a lot of engineers from Carlisle (Long time member of the C5 registry) I worked as a unofficial go-between between them and a local dealer to try to fix that problem. Many times a poster named Hoonose <SPL> and I were quite talkative about that problem. Finely in disgust I traded it for a 07 Z06 and of course shortly after they finely came up with a cure. |

In real life terms, that saves me $100k, but I'm still in a financial situation that if I spend $160k on a Corvette or $250k on a Porsche, it doesn't change the needle on the monthly budget one bit. BUT, I want the 2019 GT3 RS, and it's not currently classed in any stock class, and would require me to jump to Super Street Prepared, which would then require many modifications to be competitive. I'm not buying a quarter of a million dollar car to not be able to drive it the way I want to drive it. Stock class is where I want to be, and the C8 Z06 was just added to the Super Street class, and the compromise in tires for competitive rubber is minimal. Only loss is 20 mm in rear tires. OEM 345 wide, available rears in competitive tires 325 wide. New GT3's or even GT3 RS from 2019 can't run in SS. I'm not buying a paper weight to show off. I want to compete.
